Worthing

Robin went off to the Cliffe shed this morning and I knitted for a few hours! Then we met Tom and Libby at the station to go and see Lewes Ladies play Sunderland. We lost 2-0, Lewes are at the bottom of the division and Sunderland at the top - but it was much closer than the score suggests. The vote opens on Tuesday and I think the sooner it is over the better so that the players can get on with winning!!

In the afternoon we went to Worthing - the pier there is lovely, well worth a visit. They have stained glass all the way down the middle of it that people contribute to and in the sun they look fabulous! We met Tom, Laura and the girls later to go to a light show in the gardens in Worthing. We were there a bit early so it wasnt quite dark enough so you could see all the tears in the paper etc. Later on when it was dark they looked amazing - will definitely go next year - when it is dark!!
