The fair today is 11 til 4 and the weather report not so good. We turned up at 8 to set up. We had left quite a lot of our stuff at Charlbury so we had to make do with what we had. (never run two fairs on the same weekend!). We had the lovely Cotswolds Wardens next to us on one side and WASP again on the other. It was a strange day - a few heavy showers, a bit slow to start but busy by 1230. A lot of interest in making hedgehogs from clay and sticks and also leaf crowns. We had quite a lot of interest and were pretty busy but not as much as yesterday at Charlbury. Some great conversations with people and also made some good contacts with some of the other stall holders. But by 330 it had really thinned out - I think the football match was calling people! I stayed to pack up this fair while Ros went back to Charlbury to pack up that one - divide and conquer. I got home about 530 so did catch most fo the match! But Ros contacted me later - she hadnt been able to pack up so we needed to get bcak there at 10am tomorrow to finish off. I also need to set my pan traps early tomorrow - no worry I can leave at 645 and get everything done!
