X ray

I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon (a miracle that I got a face to face appointment!). I have had pain in my back for weeks now. After a good set of tests she sent me off to get an xray today. So I missed my lecture this morning and set off to the Royal Berkshire Hospital early to get it done. I got there at 815 and was out by 9am - pretty good I think. Apparently the doctor will have the results in about a week.

Later in the day Robin and I went over to mum and Dorothys to take Dorothy to the GP for a B12 injection for her anaemia. It's not that far away but Dorothy is still recovering from her operation and it is too far for her to walk.

In the evening we went to the Lord Raglan pub as they had an Oktoberfest evening. We ran into Chris friend James and had a good chat with him. The pub failed to open the barrel that they had for Oktoberfest - I think they didn't read the manual! But the sausage and pretzel was good.
