Xmas lunch!

Today is the South Downs National Park volunteers christmas lunch! But first we need to do some work! Off to the top of Ditchling Beacon to cut down lots of gorse and burn it. Hard work and we had a massive fire to burn it all plus mince pies for elevenses!! Then we went to the pub for Chrismas lunch - all of us looking slightly scruffy and smelling of bonfire!! The White Horse Inn, Ditchling (whitehorseditchling.com ) did a wonderful job and there was far too much to eat - there were about 30 of us there, it was lovely to chat to some of the other volunteers - people tend to sticj to a particular day so normally you dont get to meet everyone. Number 12 advent window!
