Zurich here we come!

Sunday 30th March 2025

Off we go. The clocks went forward so we were up early just in case! Off to St Pancras to get the Eurostar. It was very efficient through passport control and checks but very crowded, everyone is going to France! Arrive at Gare de Nord and make our way over to Gare de Lyon. Managed a walk across the Seine on the way!

Got on the double decker train which I live and 3 hours later we are in Basel. Quick change and an hour later we are in Zurich. It is 7pm but still light enough to see the city which is lovely.

20 minute walk up our hotel, a very quick turn around and we went out to have a look round. It was Sunday night and pretty quiet, and so clean!!! We found a nice bar for a cocktail and then off to bed. Ready for the next days travels!!
